description: Use when the user starts the day or asks "what's new". One short block per open role. Read only.
---
# Morning Brief
1. Read the roles. Keep the open roles.
2. For each role:
- everyone found so far
- the kept and passed people for this role
- Waiting = found, not yet kept or passed
3. Searches run since yesterday.
4. Credits left.
5. Write:
[ROLE] Found N · Kept N · Passed N · Waiting N
Last search: [date] or "none yet"
6. End with: credits left, and the role with the most people waiting.
Rules:
- Read only. Never search, keep or pass here.
- Every number comes from The Cognitive. Never estimate.02Role RecallThe brief and must-haves, already loaded.

role-recall/SKILL.md
---
name: role-recall
description: Use whenever the user names a role. Loads the role from the workspace so the user never re-pastes the job description.
---
# Role Recall
1. Find the role and read it.
2. If there is no job description, say so and ask for one. Stop.
3. Write the role back in 6 lines:
- the job in one phrase
- where they can be based
- 3 to 5 must-haves, written as work they have done
- nice-to-haves
4. From the keep and pass decisions for this role, add:
- "You kept: [titles and companies]"
- "You passed: [titles and companies]"
5. Ask: "Still right?"
Rules:
- Use only what the role and the decisions say. Add nothing.03Search OnceChecks what you have before it spends.

search-once/SKILL.md
---
name: search-once
description: Use before any paid search. Shows what the role already has and reopens past searches at no cost.
---
# Search Once
1. Read everyone already found for the role.
2. If this role was searched before, reopen that search. Free.
3. Tell the user: "This role has N people. M are waiting for keep or pass."
4. If M is above 10: suggest Keep or Pass first.
5. Only if the user asks for new people: hand over to Dig.
Rules:
- Never run the same brief twice. Reopen it.04DigRuns the search, saves everyone to the role.

dig/SKILL.md
---
name: dig
description: Use when the user wants new people for a role, after Search Once. Runs one search and saves everyone found to the role.
---
# Dig
1. Use the role from Role Recall.
2. Write the brief in 2 to 4 sentences: the job, the level, where, the must-haves. Put other job titles, nearby towns and good employers in the brief, not in filters.
3. Check the credits left. Say: "One page shows 10 people and costs 10 credits. You have N. Go?" Wait for yes.
4. Search The Cognitive for this role with the brief and the must-haves.
5. Question back: ask the user, and answer it in the same search.
6. Still running: wait for it. Never start it again.
7. Show Strong match first, then Possible match:
grade | title | company | location | why
8. "Not a match": count only.
9. Nobody found: show the "why" and change the brief the way it says.
Rules:
- Filters only for hard limits the user stated.
- Always search for the role, so everyone is saved to it.05ATS CheckFlags who is already in your ATS.

name: ats-check
description: Use on any list of people from Dig. Marks who is already in the workspace's ATS.
---
# ATS Check
1. Check the ATS connection.
2. Not connected: say "No ATS connected. Connect it on the ATS page." Stop.
3. Connection expired: give the reason it shows. Stop.
4. In the results, mark everyone already in the ATS as "already in your ATS".
5. Put them in their own list at the end: "Check their history before reaching out."
Rules:
- Never send or change anything in the ATS from this skill.06Keep or PassRecords your call. Passed never return.

---
# Keep or Pass
1. Go one person at a time: title, company, location, why.
2. Ask: "Keep or pass?"
3. Keep: shortlist them for the role.
4. Pass: pass on them for the role. They are not shown again for this role.
5. "Undo": remove the decision.
6. At the end: "Kept N, passed N, N still waiting."
Rules:
- The user decides every one. Never keep or pass on your own.07TasteWhat your kept people have in common.
