Juicebox Alternatives in 2026: 10 AI Sourcing Tools Beyond PeopleGPT
By Sparsh Goyal, Founder at The Cognitive. Published · Last updated
- Top picks: The Cognitive for plain-English search plus a live AI interview, hireEZ for a bigger pool with InMail, SeekOut to search your ATS too, Pin for a free start, Gem for a recruiting CRM.
- The Cognitive is the only tool here that finds people outside your database and runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them, in a self-serve account at a published price; Juicebox stops at outreach.
- Pick hireEZ or LinkedIn Recruiter if pool size was the problem, SeekOut or Findem if your own ATS matters most, Loxo if you are an agency, ContactOut if only contact data was the issue.
- I run The Cognitive. The other 9 are judged from their own websites, read on 1 October 2026.
The best Juicebox alternative in 2026 is The Cognitive if you like PeopleGPT-style search but want the next step done too. You describe the role in plain English, it searches ~900M public profiles, and then it runs a live AI video interview with the people you pick. Juicebox stops at outreach. The Cognitive is self-serve and monthly, at a published price.
Getting sourcing right is worth the switch. In Gem's 2026 recruiting benchmarks, sourced candidates were "nearly eight times more likely to be hired than inbound applicants". So if your Juicebox searches aren't turning into hires, the tool is costing you more than its price.
The best Juicebox alternatives in 2026
- The Cognitive: best overall, because it searches in plain English like PeopleGPT and then interviews the people you pick, live, with AI.
- hireEZ: best if you want a bigger pool and InMail inside your sequences.
- SeekOut: best if your own ATS is a talent pool you want to search too.
- Pin: best if you want to start on a free plan.
- Gem: best if you need a recruiting CRM more than a search box.
- Fetcher: best if you'd rather have candidates delivered than search yourself.
- Findem: best for enterprises that want referrals and alumni searched before cold outreach.
- Loxo: best for agencies that want sourcing inside their ATS.
- LinkedIn Recruiter: best if you left Juicebox because the pool felt small.
- ContactOut: best if contact data was your real problem.
Full disclosure: I run The Cognitive. I put it first on 2 tests you can check yourself: it finds people outside your own database from a plain-English brief, and it runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them in an account you can open without a sales call, at a published price. It's the only tool on this list that passes both. After #1, the order is my judgment of how well each tool fixes the most common reasons people leave Juicebox. It isn't a score. I have not used the other 9 on a paid account. What I say about them comes from their own websites, read on 1 October 2026, and from public reviews.
Why do recruiters look for Juicebox alternatives?
Juicebox is well liked. It has 4.8 out of 5 from 63 reviews on G2 (read 1 October 2026), and reviewers keep praising how fast PeopleGPT turns a description into a search. The reasons to switch are narrower, and they show up in reviews and forums:
- The pool feels smaller than LinkedIn. "Juicebox doesn't have as many candidates as LinkedIn, which always provides more of the candidates I'm looking for," a senior technical sourcer wrote on G2 in September 2026.
- Contact data you have to double-check. One G2 reviewer said "the phone numbers seem to be only about 30% accurate", and that broken profile links meant "I have to cross-check everything on LinkedIn". G2's own summary of the reviews notes the platform "can occasionally present outdated information". On Reddit, an agency recruiter who tested several tools ranked Juicebox "slightly better than SW" (SourceWhale) "but not as good as HireEZ" (r/RecruitmentAgencies).
- Phone numbers cost more, and not on the entry plan. Juicebox's pricing page lists phone numbers from Growth up, at 3 contact credits against 1 for an email. Credits are capped per seat until the custom Business plan.
- ATS integration is on the top plan only. Juicebox connects to 41 applicant tracking systems (ATS) and 21 CRMs, but its pricing page puts both integrations on the custom Business plan only. Even then, a head of HR on G2 wrote, "I am not able to see all of my current ATS candidates in the system".
- The tools feel the same. "All of these tools are buying data from upstream people data providers," one buyer said in r/Recruitment, naming Juicebox among them. Another called Juicebox and 2 rivals "all very similar" (r/RecruitmentAgencies).
- It stops at the email. Juicebox finds people and sequences them. It doesn't interview anyone, so after a reply you're back to booking phone screens.
If the data is close across tools, the real difference is what happens after someone replies.
What is Juicebox (PeopleGPT), and what does it do well?
Juicebox is an AI sourcing tool. Its search engine, PeopleGPT, "understands your searches, configures filters, and supports full natural-language search" across "800M+ profiles from 30+ data sources". Its agents source in the background and can auto-email or auto-shortlist people, and its sequences "include social and call steps".
It's good at 3 things: plain-English search, a quick start, and a monthly seat. "Juicebox felt easier to commit to because it's month-to-month, and LinkedIn doesn't offer that," a G2 reviewer at a 12-person company wrote. A good alternative has to keep those 3 things.
How do the top Juicebox alternatives compare?
Here is how they stack up. I filled in every cell from the vendor's own site on 1 October 2026:
| Tool | Best for | Search in plain English? | What happens after the search | Pricing model | Price on website? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Juicebox | The tool you're leaving | Yes, PeopleGPT | Email sequences and agents | Per seat plus contact credits; free plan | Yes, except Business |
| The Cognitive | Search, then a live AI interview | Yes, read into editable filters | Contact reveal, email and SMS on Sourcing Pro, live AI video interview | Credits on a monthly plan | Yes |
| hireEZ | Bigger pool, InMail in sequences | Yes | Email, SMS and InMail; voice AI screening | Solo plan; teams by quote | Solo plan only |
| SeekOut | Searching your ATS too | Yes | Outreach; AI screening interviews of inbound applicants | Core self-serve; teams per seat, annual | Core plan only |
| Pin | A free start | Yes, from a job description | Sequences; interview scheduling | Free plan, then per seat | Yes, except Business |
| Gem | A recruiting CRM | Yes | Multi-channel sequences, CRM, inbound review | By company headcount, by quote | Startup program only |
| Fetcher | Candidates delivered | You set the search, Fetcher curates | Templated outreach | Monthly plans by lead volume | Yes, except Enterprise |
| Findem | Warm sources first | Via its AI assistant, Fia | Outreach; AI video interviews | By quote | No |
| Loxo | Agency ATS with sourcing | Yes | Email and SMS, inside the ATS | Per user, annual | Yes, except Enterprise |
| LinkedIn Recruiter | The largest network | Filters and AI assistant | InMail | Per seat, one- to multi-year agreement | No |
| ContactOut | Emails and phone numbers | No, it's contact data | Nothing; you export | Monthly subscription, free daily credits | Yes |
How did we rank these Juicebox alternatives?
I started from the reasons people leave Juicebox and asked 4 questions of each tool. Does it search beyond your own database, ideally from a plain-English brief? Does it fix a known complaint: pool size, contact data, ATS access or the missing step after outreach? Can you start without a sales call, at a price on the website? Does it run a live, two-way AI video interview with the people it found? Only The Cognitive passes all 4. hireEZ screens by voice or chat, SeekOut screens people who apply, and Findem sells AI video interviews through a demo. The rest each fix 1 or 2 things well, which is why the list says who each is best for.
How do you choose a Juicebox alternative?
Was the problem the pool or the people in it?
If you kept running out of profiles, you need a bigger source: hireEZ and SeekOut both say they search more than 1 billion. If too many profiles were weak fits, you need better judging, not more names. In The Cognitive, every person found is judged against your must-haves, and anyone who misses one drops below the people who meet them.
Do you search in Boolean or in plain English?
If you bought Juicebox to skip Boolean, don't go backwards. In The Cognitive, we typed "Senior backend engineer with 5+ years of Go who has built payments systems, Remote EU". It turned that into filters we could edit, and read "Remote EU" as Germany plus 7 other countries. We compare more tools that work this way in natural language candidate search.
How much do you pay for a phone number?
Contact data is where costs creep, so check whether you pay when nothing comes back. The Cognitive charges 1 credit per candidate a search returns, 5 to reveal an email and 10 to reveal a phone number. You're only charged for a reveal when a value comes back.
What happens after a candidate replies?
This is the question most lists skip. With Juicebox, a reply means a calendar link and a phone screen on your own time. The Cognitive invites the people you pick to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, so you read a scored report before you spend your own time.
Do you need your ATS connected on day 1?
If yes, check the plan, not the logo wall. Juicebox puts ATS and CRM integration on its custom Business plan only. The Cognitive connects to Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and others through one unified integration. It writes a note with the interview score, summary and report link back to candidates you imported from the ATS. People you source inside The Cognitive aren't written into the ATS automatically.
The 10 best Juicebox alternatives, reviewed
1. The Cognitive: best overall, because it searches in plain English like PeopleGPT and then interviews the people you pick, live, with AI
The Cognitive is AI recruiting software that sources candidates across ~900M public profiles and interviews them live with AI. If you liked typing a sentence into PeopleGPT, the start will feel familiar. The difference is what comes after.
You describe the role and edit the filters it reads from your brief. Every person is judged against your must-haves. A required licence, degree or language only counts as met when the profile shows it. Each card says why someone matches in a "Why this match" line taken from the profile, and the full profile tags the qualifying role "matches brief". There's no fit score to squint at. You reveal an email or phone number for the people you want, and on the Sourcing Pro plan you can send them email and SMS sequences from platform mailboxes.
Then the part Juicebox doesn't do. You invite the people you shortlist to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, in any of 9 languages. The invitation tells candidates the interview is run by AI, and they book their own slot without making an account. The rubric is fixed for the role and the questions adapt to each answer. You get a 1 to 5 score per criterion, a weighted score out of 100, a suggested verdict, the transcript and the recording. Nothing is rejected automatically, and you can share the report as a read-only link.
It isn't an ATS, it can't search your past applicants, and it has no InMail.
Pick it if you want PeopleGPT-style search plus the first interview, in one self-serve account. AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month, on a monthly plan you can cancel anytime. There's more on our AI sourcing page, and the wider field is ranked in the best AI sourcing tools.

2. hireEZ: best if you want a bigger pool and InMail inside your sequences
If "not as many candidates as LinkedIn" is your complaint, hireEZ answers it head on. It searches "1B+ candidate profiles across 45+ channels" and runs "Email, SMS, and InMail engagement", so LinkedIn stays a channel instead of a rival. It also lists "Voice AI that screen and engage at scale", which screens by voice or chat rather than by video interview.
The solo plan shows a price and a 7-day free trial. Team pricing is "configured to the stack hireEZ replaces", with a four-week verification before you sign. Our hireEZ review has the detail.
Pick it if you run outbound at volume and want InMail in the same sequence as email.
3. SeekOut: best if your own ATS is a talent pool you want to search too
The G2 reviewer who couldn't see all their ATS candidates in Juicebox should look at SeekOut. It searches "1B+ profiles", and on its Sourcing + Integration tier and above it searches your ATS in the same place. Recruit Core is self-serve with "14 days free" and "No contract commitment".
Its AI screener, Sam, interviews people who apply and adapts its follow-up questions to their answers. It's an add-on on the custom-priced tiers below Full Talent Funnel, and it screens inbound applicants rather than the people you sourced. Team plans are custom and billed annually per seat. See our SeekOut review.
Pick it if you're an enterprise team with years of applicants sitting in your ATS.
4. Pin: best if you want to start on a free plan
Pin is the closest like-for-like swap. It searches "850M+ profiles" from a job description, and its free plan gives "5 contact lookup credits per week, 1 Job position, 1 AI Agent, Email-only sequences". Paid plans add multi-channel sequences and AI interview scheduling, and ATS integration is an add-on below Business.
Worth knowing: on 16 September 2026 Pin posted that "LinkedIn's team raised concerns about our presence on their platform", adding that "Pin does not depend on LinkedIn". Our Pin alternatives guide covers what else to test.
Pick it if you want to test an AI sourcing agent for free before you pay for anything.
5. Gem: best if you need a recruiting CRM more than a search box
Some teams simply outgrow a search tool. Gem is built for that. It searches "800M+ profiles", adds people "from 20+ sourcing sites" in 1 click, runs "multi-channel outreach sequences", and its AI Application Review Agent scores "every inbound application before you open it".
Pricing is "Based on your company's FTE count". Companies under 30 employees get Gem "free for six months, then 50% off".
Pick it if you want sourcing, CRM, pipeline and reporting in one system and you're fine with a quote.
6. Fetcher: best if you'd rather have candidates delivered than search yourself
Fetcher takes the opposite approach to PeopleGPT. You set the search, and it delivers candidates from a "500M+ candidate database", with templated outreach and a LinkedIn sourcing plugin. Its top published plan adds "A dedicated Sourcer for ~4-6 roles".
Plans are priced by candidate volume, so it suits steady hiring.
Pick it if nobody on your team has time to search, even in plain English.
7. Findem: best for enterprises that want referrals and alumni searched before cold outreach
Findem starts with the people you already know. It pulls inbound applicants, your ATS, referrals, alumni and CRM data together with "more than 850 million candidate profiles". It also sells AI video interviews and a screening agent.
There's no public price for the platform. The route in is a demo, though "Findem Studio" lets you try an agent for free. Read our Findem review for more.
Pick it if you're a large team whose best candidates are probably already in your systems.
8. Loxo: best for agencies that want sourcing inside their ATS
If you run Juicebox next to an agency ATS, you copy candidates across. Loxo puts both in one place: a "Full ATS + recruiting CRM" plus "a proprietary graph of 850M+ professionals", with contact data and email and SMS outreach.
Plans are per user and billed annually, with a 7-day free trial. Switching means moving your system of record; our Loxo review covers what that involves. For more agency options, see our recruitment software for agencies list.
Pick it if you run an agency and want 1 system instead of 2.
9. LinkedIn Recruiter: best if you left Juicebox because the pool felt small
LinkedIn Recruiter is "Built on the world's most dynamic and trusted professional network of over 1 billion members", and you reach people by InMail. One G2 reviewer wrote that their team still relies on LinkedIn Recruiter for outreach, "as Juicebox's contact options are limited to emails" on their plan.
LinkedIn says Recruiter "does not have a single standard price". It's sold per seat, and its main bundle runs on "a one- to multi-year agreement", unlike Juicebox's monthly seat. Our LinkedIn Recruiter alternatives guide covers the trade-off.
Pick it if your candidates answer InMail and you can commit to a seat.
10. ContactOut: best if contact data was your real problem
If search was fine but the numbers bounced, ContactOut fixes only that. Its extension says it gets "emails and phone numbers for 75% of people on LinkedIn", and you can "get 5 free credits daily".
It's contact data only, with no ranking or screening. For other options, see our list of email and phone finders for recruiters.
Pick it if you'll keep searching on LinkedIn and just need a way to email and call people.
How does Juicebox compare with hireEZ, SeekOut and Pin?
Juicebox vs hireEZ
Both search in plain English and run sequences. hireEZ claims the bigger pool, at "1B+" against Juicebox's "800M+", and puts InMail and SMS into its sequences. Juicebox publishes a price for every tier but Business, while hireEZ publishes only its solo plan. Full breakdown: hireEZ vs Juicebox.
Juicebox vs SeekOut
Juicebox is quicker to start. SeekOut suits enterprise teams that want external profiles and their own ATS in one search, billed annually per seat above Core.
Juicebox vs Pin
These are the most alike: both search from a description, have a free plan and run AI agents. Pin's free plan includes email sequences; Juicebox's gives "Limited free searches" and 5 one-off contact credits. If you also weigh Metaview, see Metaview vs Juicebox.
Is Juicebox worth it in 2026?
For a solo recruiter or a small team that wants plain-English search on a monthly seat, yes. It's weaker if you need the widest pool, phone numbers you can trust without checking, an ATS connection without a custom, annual Business plan, or any screening after outreach. Our full Juicebox review goes deeper.
Who is The Cognitive built for?
We built The Cognitive for the recruiter who already likes AI search and is tired of what comes after it: the calendar links, the no-shows and the phone screens that tell you nothing new. You search as you did in Juicebox, then hand over candidates who've been interviewed.
- Keep your ATS. The Cognitive connects through one unified integration and writes the interview score, summary and report link back to candidates you imported from it.
- Keep a LinkedIn seat if InMail works for you. The Cognitive handles the search, the contact details and the first interview.
- Agencies keep their agency ATS. The Cognitive finds and interviews the people you submit, and the read-only report link travels with them.
How is Juicebox priced, and how do the alternatives charge?
Juicebox charges per seat per month, with a free plan, Starter and Growth tiers, and a custom Business plan sold annually only. Each paid seat comes with a monthly pool of contact credits. An email costs 1 credit, and phone numbers, which start on Growth, cost 3. Business has unlimited contact credits. Agents are an add-on priced per agent per month, and paying annually gets a discount. Juicebox publishes prices for every tier except Business on its pricing page.
The alternatives use 4 models:
- Credits on a monthly plan: The Cognitive. Best when hiring comes in waves.
- Per seat with contact credits: Juicebox, Pin, Loxo and SeekOut Core. Best when 1 or 2 people source every day.
- By quote: hireEZ teams, SeekOut teams, Gem, Findem and LinkedIn Recruiter. Best for larger teams buying through procurement.
- By volume delivered or looked up: Fetcher and ContactOut.
The Cognitive's AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month. A search costs 1 credit per candidate it returns, 5 to reveal an email and 10 to reveal a phone number.
How do you test a Juicebox alternative before you switch?
Don't cancel first. Run the same brief for 1 open role through Juicebox and the alternative for 2 weeks. Count people you'd contact, contact details that worked, replies, and your hours before a hiring manager saw someone. The Cognitive has a free trial with 100 sourcing credits, so you can run that test on a real role.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Juicebox alternative?
The Cognitive is the best Juicebox alternative in 2026 if you like PeopleGPT-style search and want the next step done too. It searches ~900M public profiles from a plain-English brief, judges every match against your must-haves, and runs a live AI video interview with the people you pick. hireEZ, SeekOut, Pin and Gem round out the top 5.
What are the best PeopleGPT alternatives for natural-language candidate search?
The Cognitive reads a plain-English brief into filters you can edit, so you never write Boolean, and then interviews the people you shortlist. hireEZ, SeekOut, Pin and Gem also accept natural-language searches. Pin is the closest like-for-like swap if you want a free plan.
How much does Juicebox cost?
Juicebox charges per seat per month, with a free plan, Starter and Growth tiers, and a custom Business plan sold annually only, and it publishes prices for every tier except Business. Paid seats include monthly contact credits: an email costs 1 credit, and phone numbers, available from Growth up, cost 3. Agents are an add-on priced per agent per month. The Cognitive's AI Sourcing starts at $49/month, priced by credits rather than seats.
Juicebox vs hireEZ: which is better?
hireEZ claims a bigger pool, 1B+ profiles against Juicebox's 800M+, and puts InMail and SMS in its sequences, but publishes a price only for its solo plan. Juicebox is easier to start on a monthly seat. If you want search plus a first interview instead, The Cognitive does both in one self-serve account.
Juicebox vs SeekOut: which should I choose?
Choose SeekOut if you want your own ATS and external profiles in one search and can buy annual seats; choose Juicebox for a quick monthly start. The Cognitive fits teams that want plain-English search followed by a live AI interview, though it does not search your ATS history.
Is there a Juicebox alternative that interviews candidates?
Yes. The Cognitive invites the people you shortlist to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, with a 1 to 5 score per criterion, a weighted score out of 100, the transcript and the recording. Juicebox has no interview step. Findem sells AI video interviews through a demo, SeekOut sells an AI screening interview for inbound applicants, and hireEZ lists voice AI screening.
Is Juicebox worth it in 2026?
For a solo recruiter who wants plain-English search on a monthly seat, yes: it has 4.8 out of 5 from 63 G2 reviews, read on 1 October 2026. Reviewers do flag a smaller pool than LinkedIn and contact data they have to double-check. If what you need is interviewed candidates rather than more names, The Cognitive is the better fit.
