Pin Alternatives in 2026: 10 AI Sourcing Agents That Do More Than Book the Call
By Sparsh Goyal, Founder at The Cognitive. Published · Last updated
- The best Pin alternative in 2026 is The Cognitive, followed by Juicebox for a like-for-like agent, hireEZ for the biggest pool, SeekOut to search your ATS too and Metaview for teams already on its notetaker.
- The Cognitive is the only tool here that finds people outside your database and runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them, in a self-serve account at a published price; Pin books the call and leaves the interview to you.
- Pick Gem or Findem for an enterprise platform, Loxo for an agency ATS, Fetcher for human sourcers and LinkedIn Recruiter to source on LinkedIn itself. I run The Cognitive, and the other 9 are judged from their own websites, read on 3 October 2026.
The best Pin alternative in 2026 is The Cognitive if you want an AI sourcing agent that also does the first interview. Pin finds people across 850M+ profiles, writes the outreach and books a call on your calendar. The Cognitive searches ~900M public profiles from a plain-English brief, then runs a live, two-way AI video interview with the people you pick. You start self-serve, at a published monthly price.
The search is the part worth getting right. Gem's 2026 recruiting benchmarks, built on 1.2 million hires, found that sourced candidates are "nearly eight times more likely to be hired than inbound applicants". The same report says interviews per hire are up 33% since 2021, so the first interview is worth handing off too.
The best Pin alternatives in 2026
- The Cognitive: best if you want the search and the first interview in one account.
- Juicebox: best like-for-like swap for always-on sourcing agents.
- hireEZ: best for the biggest pool, with voice and chat screening.
- SeekOut: best if you want your own ATS searched too.
- Metaview: best if your team already takes interview notes in Metaview.
- Gem: best if you need a CRM and an ATS around your sourcing.
- Findem: best for enterprises that want referrals and alumni searched first.
- Loxo: best for agencies that want sourcing inside their ATS.
- Fetcher: best if you'd rather have human sourcers deliver candidates.
- LinkedIn Recruiter: best if you want to source on LinkedIn itself.
Full disclosure: I run The Cognitive. I put it first on a test you can check: it finds people outside your own database, and it runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them, in an account you can open without a sales call, at a published price. Of the 10 tools here, it's the only one that passes both halves today. After #1 the order is my judgment of how well each tool covers what Pin does. I have not used the other 9 on a paid account. What I say about them comes from their own websites, read on 3 October 2026.
What is Pin, and what does an AI sourcing agent do?
An AI sourcing agent is software that searches for candidates on its own from a job description, ranks them, and starts outreach without you writing Boolean strings. Pin (pin.com, made by Love Thy Recruiting, Inc) is one of them. Its homepage calls it "The AI Recruiting Platform That Fills Your Pipeline While You Sleep", and it says it automates "candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling across 850M+ profiles".
You search in plain English, and "each match carries a fit score and AI-written reasoning". An agent keeps sourcing in Assist or Autopilot mode. When a candidate replies with interest, Pin's AI "checks your calendar, handles timezones, and books the slot". It also has a Chrome extension, a CRM, 120+ ATS integrations and an MCP server for Claude or ChatGPT.
When Pin says "screening", it means its AI "scores every candidate against your job requirements", which is a judgment of the profile. I found no AI interviewer anywhere on Pin's site. The interview Pin books is a call with you.
Why do recruiters look for Pin alternatives?
Pin is a strong product with a generous free plan. The 4 reasons to look at Pin competitors all show up on Pin's own pages:
- The LinkedIn question. On 16 September 2026, Pin's CEO Steven Lu wrote that Pin's company page and his own profile were no longer on LinkedIn, and that "LinkedIn's team raised concerns about our presence on their platform". He added that "Pin does not depend on LinkedIn". Pin still lists a LinkedIn Chrome extension and a LinkedIn Messages integration, so teams that use those want a backup.
- Contact data and coverage. Pin's own reviews roundup says its weaker reviews "center on field-trade coverage, occasional contact-data bounces, a few agency ATS connectors, and search tuning". That tells you where to test, and our list of email and phone finders for recruiters covers backup sources.
- Plan limits. On Pin's pricing page, ATS integration is an add-on below the custom Business plan, and Solo is sold "only on annual billing".
- The interview is still yours. Pin books the call. You still run every first screen, which is where interview hours pile up.
How do the top Pin alternatives compare?
Here is how they stack up. I filled in every cell from the vendor's own site on 3 October 2026:
| Tool | Best for | Profiles searched (vendor's claim) | Interview step | Pricing model | Price on website? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pin | The tool you're leaving | 850M+ | Books a call with you; AI scores profiles | Free plan, then per user; Business custom | Yes, except Business |
| The Cognitive | Search plus the first interview | ~900M public profiles | Live, two-way AI video interview | Monthly plans plus credits | Yes |
| Juicebox | Like-for-like agent swap | 800M | None | Per seat; agents per agent; Business custom | Yes, except Business |
| hireEZ | Biggest pool | 1B+ | Voice or chat AI screening | Solo plan; teams configured by quote | Solo only |
| SeekOut | Your ATS plus outside profiles | 1B+ | AI video screening of inbound applicants, add-on on team tiers | Core self-serve; teams per seat, annual | Core only |
| Metaview | Teams already on Metaview notes | Not stated | Voice screening agent, on the custom platform | Sourcing per user; platform custom | Sourcing tiers only |
| Gem | CRM and ATS around sourcing | 800M+ | Scheduling only | By company headcount | Startup program only |
| Findem | Warm sources first | 850 million+ | AI video interviews, via demo | By quote | No |
| Loxo | Agency ATS with sourcing | 850M+ | Scheduling and notes | Per user, annual, paid up front | Yes, except Enterprise |
| Fetcher | Candidates delivered | 500M+ | None | Plans by volume; large teams by quote | Yes, except volume deals |
| LinkedIn Recruiter | LinkedIn itself | 1 billion+ members | None; AI evaluates applicants | Per seat, one- to multi-year agreement | No |
How did we rank these Pin alternatives?
I started with 11 tools and kept 10. Wellfound came off the list because its recruiter pages wouldn't load for me on the day, and I don't review what I can't read. For the rest I read each vendor's product and pricing pages on 3 October 2026 and asked 4 questions. Does it search for people outside your own database? Does it cover what Pin covers, meaning plain-English search, outreach and a path to a booked conversation? Can you start without a sales call, at a price on the website? Does it run a live, two-way AI video interview with the people it found?
Only The Cognitive gets 4 out of 4. The AI interviews section below shows where the 4 others with some AI screening fall short. Juicebox, Gem, Loxo, Fetcher and LinkedIn Recruiter don't interview. I couldn't test anyone's data quality on a live search, so the list says who each tool fits.
How do you choose a Pin alternative?
Are you replacing Pin or adding to it?
If Pin's search works and only the LinkedIn news worries you, a second sourcing tool may be enough. If the gap is everything after the reply, add an interview step. The Cognitive covers both.
Do you want a fit score or a reason?
Pin gives each match a fit score with written reasoning. Some recruiters find a number hard to defend to a hiring manager. The Cognitive has no fit score. Each result card opens with a "Why this match" line of 1 or 2 reasons traced to the profile, such as "Go listed in skills", and anyone who misses a must-have drops below the people who meet them.
How much of your pipeline is already in your database?
Gem's benchmarks found that "nearly half (46%) of sourced hires now come from rediscovered candidates", meaning people already in a company's CRM or ATS. SeekOut, Gem and Findem search your own records too. The Cognitive doesn't search your ATS history, so pair it with one of them if past applicants are your best source. Our guide to candidate rediscovery explains how to mine that pool.
Who runs the first interview?
Interviews per hire are up 33% since 2021, per the same Gem report, and an agent that books more calls adds to that load. The Cognitive invites the people you pick to a live AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, so you read a scored report before you give anyone your time.
How much will contact data cost you?
Pin charges 1 credit for a personal email, a work email or a phone number, from a monthly or weekly allowance. The Cognitive charges 1 credit per candidate a search returns, 5 to reveal an email and 10 to reveal a phone number. You're only charged for a reveal when a value comes back.
The 10 best Pin alternatives, reviewed
1. The Cognitive: best if you want the search and the first interview in one account
The Cognitive is AI recruiting software that sources candidates across ~900M public profiles and interviews them live with AI. You write the brief in plain English, as in Pin, and it's read into filters you can edit. When we typed "Senior backend engineer with 5+ years of Go who has built payments systems, Remote EU", the filters included "Remote EU", read as Germany plus 7 other countries.
Every person is judged against your must-haves, and the full profile tags the qualifying role "matches brief". When the pool is thin, it relaxes its softest filters and tells you what it broadened. Everyone found stays with the role, so later searches skip people you've already seen. After 8 or more decisions, what you shortlist and pass on shapes later ranking.
You can reveal verified emails and phone numbers, enriched from 30+ sources. On the Sourcing Pro plan you can send email and SMS sequences from platform mailboxes. SMS goes to the US and Canada by default, and a reply or opt-out on either channel stops both.
Then comes the step Pin leaves to you. The people you shortlist get an invitation to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, in any of 9 languages. The invitation tells candidates the interview is run by AI, and they book their own slot without creating an account. The rubric is fixed for the role and the questions adapt to each answer. You get a 1 to 5 score per criterion, overall written feedback, a weighted score out of 100, a suggested verdict, the transcript and the recording. Nothing is rejected automatically, and integrity flags are logged, not scored.
The 5-minute recording above is a live AI interview for a go-to-market role. The AI asks about an outbound email campaign, then follows up on reply rates and on how the candidate qualified leads. You can share a report like this as a read-only link with scores, written feedback and the recording.
The Cognitive connects to 60+ ATSs, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and Bullhorn. It writes the score, summary and report link back to candidates you imported from the ATS; people you source inside The Cognitive aren't written to it automatically. It isn't an ATS, and it has no Chrome extension or LinkedIn InMail.
Pick it if you want Pin-style sourcing and the first interview in one self-serve account. AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month, on monthly plans you can cancel anytime. More on our AI sourcing and AI interviewer pages.

2. Juicebox: best like-for-like swap for plain-English search and always-on agents
Juicebox, also known for its PeopleGPT search, is the closest match to Pin's shape. It searches "800M global profiles and 30+ diverse data sources", and its agents "learn how you search, then source around the clock". Sequences can "include social and call steps".
The pricing page shows a free plan, Starter and Growth per seat per month, and a custom Business plan sold annually. Agents are an add-on priced per agent per month. Juicebox integrates with 41 ATSs and 21 CRMs, but ATS and CRM integration sits on Business. There's no interview step. Our Juicebox alternatives guide goes deeper.
Pick it if you want Pin's way of working from a second vendor, on a monthly seat.
3. hireEZ: best for the biggest pool, with voice and chat screening built in
hireEZ says its agent searches "a billion-plus profiles, 45+ platforms", and lists "Voice AI that screen and engage at scale". Its screener holds a conversation with each candidate, by voice or chat, against your questions. That's an AI first round, though not on video.
The pricing page publishes a solo plan with a 7-day free trial. For teams, pricing is "configured to the stack hireEZ replaces", with a four-week verification before you sign. It claims 40+ native ATS integrations.
Pick it if you hire at volume and want sourcing, screening calls and scheduling from one enterprise vendor.
4. SeekOut: best if you want your own ATS searched alongside outside profiles
SeekOut searches "1B+ profiles across external sources and your ATS". Its AI screener "conducts video interviews with candidates", aimed at inbound applicants.
On the pricing page, Sourcing Core is self-serve with a published price, "14 days free" and no contract. AI inbound screening is an add-on for the Team and Enterprise plans, which are billed annually and priced by package.
Pick it if you're an in-house team with years of applicants in your ATS and room for an annual contract.
5. Metaview: best if your team already runs interview notes in Metaview
Metaview sells an AI notetaker for interviews and now also sells a "truly autonomous AI sourcing agent". Its fillmore coworker lives in Slack, "finds candidates, runs personalized outreach, and books screening calls", and you "only pay when you hire".
Metaview also has a screening agent: candidates talk to "a natural voice agent" that asks follow-ups, whenever suits them. The sourcing agent has published per-user tiers and a free start with "First 100 profiles sourced free". Screening sits in the full Agentic Recruiting Platform, which is custom priced through sales.
Pick it if you already record interviews in Metaview and want sourcing in the same place. See our Metaview review.
6. Gem: best if you need a CRM and an ATS wrapped around your sourcing
Gem lets you "search 800M+ profiles" and covers "AI sourcing, application review, fraud detection, ATS, CRM, scheduling, and analytics". If you need more than Pin's new CRM, Gem can replace your ATS as well.
Its pricing is "Based on your company's FTE count". Companies under 30 employees get the full platform free for 6 months, then 50% off. Interviews are scheduled, not run by AI.
Pick it if you want one recruiting system of record with sourcing built in, and you're fine buying by quote. More in our Gem review.
7. Findem: best for enterprises that want referrals and alumni searched first
Findem draws on "more than 850 million candidate profiles" and joins them to your ATS, referrals, alumni and CRM data. It lists AI video interviews, one-way video interviews and live coding interviews among its products.
There's no public price. The route in is a demo, though "Findem Studio" lets you try an expert-built agent for free, and Findem says "you pay for results, not clicks".
Pick it if you're a large team that wants sourcing and AI interviews from one enterprise contract. Our Findem review goes further.
8. Loxo: best for agencies that want sourcing inside their ATS
Loxo puts a full ATS and recruiting CRM in one system with "a talent graph of 850M+ professionals" and natural-language search on every plan.
Its pricing page says "Annual plans, paid up front", per user, with a 7-day trial of the Professional plan. Loxo isn't on The Cognitive's ATS list, so the two work together through CSV upload plus a read-only report link.
Pick it if you run an agency and want 1 system instead of Pin plus an ATS. See our Loxo review.
9. Fetcher: best if you'd rather have human sourcers deliver candidates
Fetcher pairs AI with an "expert team" that sources for you from a "500M+ candidate database". Its top published plan includes "A dedicated Sourcer for ~4-6 roles", plus templated email outreach and a LinkedIn sourcing plugin.
The pricing page lists plans by candidate volume, with 30% off for annual payment.
Pick it if you liked Pin's Autopilot mode but want a person checking the list.
10. LinkedIn Recruiter: best if you want to source on LinkedIn itself
If the LinkedIn news is your reason to leave Pin, the plain answer is LinkedIn Recruiter, built on a network "of over 1 billion members". You reach people by InMail, and the new Hiring Assistant add-on automates applicant evaluation.
LinkedIn says Recruiter "does not have a single standard price". It's sold per seat through "a one- to multi-year agreement", as our LinkedIn Recruiter pricing guide explains. More options in our best AI sourcing tools list.
Pick it if your candidates answer InMail and you can commit to a contract.
Which Pin alternative also runs AI interviews?
The Cognitive is the Pin alternative to pick if you want a live, two-way AI video interview with the people you sourced, in a self-serve account at a published price. Four others on this list offer some kind of AI screening, each with a catch:
- hireEZ: AI screening by voice or chat, from a vendor that publishes only its solo price.
- SeekOut: AI video screening of inbound applicants, as an add-on on custom-priced team plans.
- Metaview: a voice screening agent candidates take on demand, inside its custom-priced platform.
- Findem: AI video and one-way video interviews, through a demo.
Pin itself books the interview and leaves it to you. For a wider view of agents that act on their own, see our best AI recruiter agents list.
How does Pin compare with Juicebox, hireEZ and SeekOut?
Pin vs Juicebox
These two are the most alike: plain-English search, background agents and sequences. Pin claims 850M+ profiles to Juicebox's 800M, and Pin adds AI scheduling and a free-forever plan with email sequences. Juicebox puts ATS integration on its custom Business plan, while Pin sells it as an add-on on its paid self-serve plans. Neither runs an interview. There's more in our Juicebox review.
Pin vs hireEZ
hireEZ claims the bigger pool, at 1B+ profiles across 45+ channels, and adds voice or chat AI screening. Pin is easier to start, with prices for every plan but Business; hireEZ publishes only its solo plan. See our hireEZ review and hireEZ alternatives for more.
Pin vs SeekOut
SeekOut searches 1B+ outside profiles and your ATS together, and screens inbound applicants with AI video. Pin is built for outbound, with a free plan. There's a full breakdown in our SeekOut review.
How much does Pin cost, and how do the alternatives charge?
Pin charges per user per month. The free-forever plan gives 5 contact lookups a week, 1 job and email-only sequences. Solo is billed annually, Professional monthly or annually, and Business is custom. An email or phone number costs 1 credit. Pin publishes prices for every plan except Business on its pricing page.
Juicebox, Loxo, SeekOut Core and Metaview's sourcing agent also charge per seat or per user. hireEZ teams, SeekOut teams, Gem, Findem and LinkedIn Recruiter sell by quote. Fetcher prices by candidate volume, and Metaview's fillmore charges when you hire.
The Cognitive's AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month. A search costs 1 credit per candidate it returns, 5 to reveal an email and 10 to reveal a phone number. More in our AI recruiting software pricing guide, and our list of affordable AI recruiting tools sorts the ones with public prices.
Who is The Cognitive built for?
The Cognitive is built for in-house recruiters, founders and agency recruiters who like what an AI sourcing agent does and want the first interview done too. Hiring managers get people who've already been interviewed and scored.
- Keep your ATS. The Cognitive connects to 60+ ATSs and writes the interview score, summary and report link back to candidates you imported from yours.
- Pair it with SeekOut or Gem if past applicants are your best source, since The Cognitive doesn't search your ATS history.
- Agencies keep their agency ATS. The read-only report link travels with each candidate you submit.
How do you test a Pin alternative before you switch?
Keep Pin running for 2 weeks and give the alternative the same brief for 1 open role. Count the people you'd contact, the contact details that worked, the replies, and your own hours before a hiring manager saw a candidate. The Cognitive has a free trial with 100 sourcing credits, so you can run the test on a real role.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Pin alternative for AI sourcing?
The Cognitive is the best Pin alternative in 2026 if you want sourcing and the first interview in one account. It reads a plain-English brief into editable filters, searches ~900M public profiles, explains each match in a "Why this match" line, and then runs a live, two-way AI video interview with the people you pick. Juicebox is the closest like-for-like swap for Pin's sourcing agent, and hireEZ claims the biggest pool.
Is there a Pin alternative that also runs AI interviews?
Yes. The Cognitive invites the people you shortlist to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes in 9 languages, with a 1 to 5 score per criterion, a weighted score out of 100, the transcript and the recording. Pin books interviews but does not run them. hireEZ screens by voice or chat, SeekOut screens inbound applicants by AI video on custom team plans, Metaview has a voice screening agent on its custom platform, and Findem sells AI video interviews through a demo.
Pin vs Juicebox: which is better?
Pin and Juicebox are close: both search in plain English, run background agents and send sequences, and neither runs an interview. Pin claims 850M+ profiles and adds AI scheduling and a free-forever plan, while Juicebox claims 800M profiles and keeps ATS integration on its custom Business plan. If you want the interview handled as well, The Cognitive does both steps in one self-serve account.
Pin vs hireEZ: which should I choose?
Choose hireEZ for a bigger pool and built-in voice or chat screening, and Pin for a faster self-serve start. hireEZ claims 1B+ profiles across 45+ channels but publishes a price only for its solo plan, while Pin publishes every plan except Business. The Cognitive sits between them: self-serve like Pin, with a live AI video interview instead of a screening call.
Pin vs SeekOut: what's the difference?
SeekOut searches 1B+ outside profiles and your own ATS together, while Pin is built for outbound sourcing with a free plan. SeekOut's AI video screening is for inbound applicants and is an add-on on its custom, annual team plans. The Cognitive interviews the people you sourced, but it does not search your ATS history.
How much does Pin cost?
Pin charges per user per month, with a free-forever plan, a Solo plan billed annually only, a Professional plan paid monthly or annually, and a custom Business plan. Each email or phone number costs 1 credit, ATS integration is an add-on below Business, and prices are published for every plan except Business. The Cognitive's AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month, priced by credits rather than seats.
Is Pin still working after leaving LinkedIn?
Yes, according to Pin: on 16 September 2026 its CEO wrote that the product is fully operational and that Pin does not depend on LinkedIn. He also said LinkedIn raised concerns about Pin's presence on its platform and that Pin's company page and his profile were no longer on LinkedIn. If your workflow leans on LinkedIn, The Cognitive searches ~900M public profiles from a plain-English brief and reveals verified emails and phone numbers inside the app.
What are the best AI sourcing agent alternatives to Pin?
The Cognitive, Juicebox, hireEZ, SeekOut and Metaview are the strongest AI sourcing agent alternatives to Pin in 2026. The Cognitive is the one that also interviews the people it finds, live, with AI. Juicebox and Metaview run always-on agents, hireEZ adds voice screening, and SeekOut searches your ATS as well.
Which Pin alternative is best for recruiting agencies?
The Cognitive suits agencies that want sourced candidates interviewed before submission, with a read-only report link that travels with each candidate. Loxo suits agencies that want sourcing inside a full ATS and CRM on annual per-user plans. Fetcher fits agencies that want human sourcers to deliver candidates.
