Recruiterflow Alternatives for Agencies: Switch CRMs or Add Sourcing and AI Interviews
By Sparsh Goyal, Founder at The Cognitive. Published · Last updated
- Top picks: The Cognitive to source and interview candidates next to Recruiterflow or any agency CRM, Loxo for search firms that want their own talent graph, Crelate for a self-serve trial, Bullhorn for temp and pay and bill, Recruit CRM for a small agency that wants to cancel anytime.
- The Cognitive is the only tool here that finds people outside your database and runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them, self-serve, with its prices on its website; Recruiterflow has no AI interview and starts with a demo.
- Keep Recruiterflow if the CRM works, since The Cognitive connects to it directly; switch to Bullhorn, Vincere or JobAdder if you run temp, or Manatal or Zoho Recruit if budget comes first.
- I run The Cognitive. The other 9 are judged from their own websites, read on 3 October 2026.
The best Recruiterflow alternative in 2026 is The Cognitive, because it searches ~900M public profiles and then interviews the people you pick, live, with AI, a step Recruiterflow doesn't run. You can keep Recruiterflow and connect The Cognitive to it, or switch CRMs. If you switch, Loxo, Crelate and Bullhorn are the closest Recruiterflow competitors.
Keeping your database matters more than most switching guides admit. Gem's 2026 Recruiting Benchmarks, built on 1.2 million hires, found that 46% of sourced hires now come from rediscovered candidates, up from 26% in 2021. Years of Recruiterflow notes are worth keeping before you rip anything out, since rediscovering past candidates depends on them.
The best Recruiterflow alternatives in 2026
- The Cognitive: best for adding sourcing and live AI interviews to Recruiterflow, or to the CRM you move to.
- Loxo: best for search firms that want their own 850M+ talent graph and AI agents.
- Crelate: best for a self-serve trial and a monthly option, with a 1 billion profile Discovery Agent.
- Bullhorn: best for staffing firms that need temp, timesheets and pay and bill.
- Recruit CRM: best for small agencies that want AI sourcing and the right to cancel anytime.
- Access Vincere Evo: best for a solo desk or a team of up to 7 on a 30-day rolling contract.
- JobAdder: best for agencies with a temp and contract desk that want a tailored proposal.
- Manatal: best low-cost agency ATS with an AI video screening add-on.
- Zoho Recruit: best for agencies that want a forever-free plan to start on.
- Atlas: best for larger agencies that want AI search across their own database.
Full disclosure: I run The Cognitive. I put it first on a test you can check: it's the only tool here that finds people outside your database and runs a live, two-way AI video interview with them, in an account you can open without a sales call, with its prices on its website. It isn't an ATS or a CRM, so I rank it as the layer you add to Recruiterflow or to whichever system replaces it. After #1, the order is my judgment of how well each replaces Recruiterflow for a typical agency. I have not used the other 9 on a paid account. What I say about them comes from their own websites, read on 3 October 2026, plus public reviews.
Why do agencies look for Recruiterflow alternatives?
Recruiterflow is well liked: 4.7 out of 5 from 332 reviews on Capterra, and "trusted by 2,100+ search firms globally" per its homepage. The reasons people leave are narrow:
- No trial. The buttons on the pricing page say "Get Demo", and I found no free trial on the homepage or the pricing page.
- The AI sits on a custom plan. The Platform Plan has a published per-user price. The AIRA Plan, which holds the Notetaker, Matchmaker and Submission Agent, says "Let's chat custom pricing".
- Sourcing. AIRA Source promises to "source across 850M+ profiles without leaving Recruiterflow", but the pricing page doesn't name its plan. A recruiting consultant on Capterra wrote that "sourcing within RF is not as simple as it sounds".
- Reporting. A CEO reviewing it on Capterra in 2023 said the team was "struggling a lot with the reports, KPIs Management, objectives management" and performance tracking.
- No interview. I found no AI interview or AI screening of candidates on either page. The AIRA Notetaker summarises calls a recruiter has already held.
Should you keep Recruiterflow or switch?
Keep it if the CRM works and the gap is new candidates or first-round screens. Recruiterflow is on The Cognitive's list of 60+ direct ATS integrations. You import candidates from Recruiterflow, invite them to a live AI interview, and each one who finishes gets a note back in Recruiterflow with the score, a summary and the report link. People you source inside The Cognitive aren't written into Recruiterflow automatically. The full list is on our ATS integrations page.
Switch if the problem is the CRM itself: you need pay and bill, or reporting is holding the business back. Plan for the move. Recruiterflow's FAQ says its paid white-glove migration typically takes 6 to 8 weeks, and the free option is a self-serve Excel or CSV import.
How do the top Recruiterflow alternatives compare?
Here is how they stack up, with Recruiterflow as the baseline. I filled in every cell from the vendor's own site on 3 October 2026:
| Tool | Best for | Finds people outside your database? | AI interview? | Billing | Price on website? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recruiterflow | The baseline: ATS and CRM for search firms | Yes, AIRA Source (plan not stated) | No, notetaker only | Per user, monthly or annual | Platform Plan yes, AIRA Plan no |
| The Cognitive | Sourcing and interviewing next to any agency CRM | Yes, ~900M public profiles | Yes, live two-way video | Monthly credits, cancel anytime | Yes |
| Loxo | Search firms wanting their own talent graph | Yes, Loxo Source on Professional | No | Per user, annual, paid up front | Yes, except Enterprise |
| Crelate | A trial without a sales call | Yes, Discovery Agent | No | Per user; Business monthly or annual | Yes, except top 2 tiers |

How did we rank these Recruiterflow competitors?
I started from what an agency buys Recruiterflow for: an ATS and CRM in one, sequences, automation and outside sourcing. Then I added the step it leaves out, the first interview. A tool made the list if Recruiterflow's own site has a comparison page for it (Bullhorn, Loxo, Crelate, Vincere and Recruit CRM) or if agencies shortlist it against Recruiterflow.
The Cognitive is #1 on the test in the disclosure, checked against all 9 others and Recruiterflow itself. Loxo, Crelate and Recruit CRM find people outside your database but interview no one. Bullhorn sells external search and screening by voice or text, both by quote. Manatal comes closest, with a 700M+ candidate database and an AI video screening add-on, but the add-on's price isn't on its pricing page. The CRMs below #1 are ranked on how much of Recruiterflow they replace and how you pay.
How do you choose a Recruiterflow alternative?
Do you need to leave Recruiterflow at all?
Write down the 3 things that annoy you most. If they're about finding or screening people, you can fix both without a migration, since The Cognitive connects to Recruiterflow directly. If they're about reporting, temp work or the contract, switch.
Do you want a trial before you sign?
Recruiterflow starts with a demo. Crelate lets you "start a free trial without talking to sales", Manatal offers 14 days with no card, Zoho Recruit gives 15 days, Atlas 14, Recruit CRM 30 and Loxo 7 days of its full Professional plan. The Cognitive also starts self-serve, with a free trial that includes 100 sourcing credits.
Do you run temp and contract placements?
Recruiterflow is built around search firms. If you place contractors, look at Bullhorn One, which adds timesheets and "pay and bill automation", or Access Vincere Evo Pro with "Pay & Bill, built in". JobAdder includes temp and contract management even on its Lite plan.
Do you want AI interviews in the workflow?
Recruiters handle 93% more applications than in 2021 and carry 13.4 open roles at a time, per the same Gem report. The first screen is where that time goes. Recruiterflow, Loxo, Crelate, Recruit CRM, Vincere, JobAdder, Zoho Recruit and Atlas don't interview candidates for you. The Cognitive runs a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes; Bullhorn and Manatal sell AI screening as an extra.
How will you test contact data?
Crelate charges an "additional fee" for enrichment, and Atlas includes verified contacts on Premium. Reveal 20 contacts you can check in your own market and count the bounces. The Cognitive enriches contact details from 30+ sources, charges 5 credits for an email and 10 for a phone number, and charges a reveal only when a value comes back.
The 10 best Recruiterflow alternatives, reviewed
1. The Cognitive: best for adding sourcing and live AI interviews to Recruiterflow, or to the CRM you move to
The Cognitive is AI recruiting software that sources candidates across ~900M public profiles and interviews them live with AI. For a Recruiterflow agency, it finds people who aren't in your database yet and runs the first-round interview before you submit anyone.
You describe the role in plain English and it reads the brief into filters you can edit. When we typed "Senior backend engineer with 5+ years of Go who has built payments systems, Remote EU", it read "Remote EU" as Germany plus 7 other countries. Anyone who misses a must-have drops below the people who meet them. Each result card opens with a "Why this match" line giving 1 or 2 reasons from the profile, such as "Go listed in skills".
You reveal verified emails and phone numbers for the people you want. On the Sourcing Pro plan you can run email and SMS sequences from platform mailboxes, and a reply or opt-out on either channel stops both.
For the interview, candidates get an invitation that tells them the interview is run by AI. They book their own slot without an account and talk live on video, in any of 9 languages. The rubric is fixed for the role and the questions adapt to each answer. You get a 1 to 5 score per criterion, a weighted score out of 100, a suggested verdict, the transcript and the recording. Nothing is rejected automatically. You can send a client a read-only link with the scores, feedback and recording.
The 5-minute recording above is a live AI interview for a go-to-market role. The AI asks the candidate about an outbound email campaign, then follows up on reply rates and on how the leads were qualified. More on our AI interviewer page.
The trade-off: it isn't an ATS or a CRM. It has no client records, job posting or invoicing, and it doesn't search your Recruiterflow history.
Pick it if you like Recruiterflow but need more people on each role and want them interviewed before the client sees them. AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month. See our AI sourcing page for how the search works.

2. Loxo: best for search firms that want their own 850M+ talent graph and AI agents
Loxo is the most direct Recruiterflow rival for search firms. Its Professional plan includes Loxo Source, "a proprietary graph of 850M+ professionals, searched in one motion with your own private database", plus the full set of agents. That's the profile count Recruiterflow quotes for AIRA Source, but Loxo names the plan that carries it.
The catch is the contract: Loxo's pricing page publishes per-user prices and says "Annual plans, paid up front". It does offer a 7-day trial of the full Professional platform with no card. Its agents work "through the shortlist" and stop there, so there's no AI interview.
Pick it if you want sourcing built into the CRM and can commit to a year. Read our Loxo review first, and see our Loxo alternatives if the annual bill is the sticking point.
3. Crelate: best for a self-serve trial and a monthly option, with a 1 billion profile Discovery Agent
Crelate "unifies sourcing, Recruiting CRM, and applicant tracking with agentic AI". Its Discovery Agent lets you "look beyond your data" across "over 1 billion profiles", with phone and email information for outreach.
The pricing page publishes per-user prices for Essentials (annual) and Business ("annual or monthly"), and Business Plus and Platform are custom. You can start a trial without talking to sales. The limit: contact enrichment, email campaigns and text messaging carry an "additional fee". Its Co-Pilot helps the recruiter prepare screens, but it doesn't interview candidates.
Pick it if you want a like-for-like CRM swap you can test on your own data before you sign.
4. Bullhorn: best for staffing firms that need temp, timesheets and pay and bill
Bullhorn is the staffing incumbent. Its editions run from Starter up to Bullhorn One, a "front office to back office solution" with timesheet management, invoicing and pay and bill automation. Bullhorn Max adds Amplify Digital Workers with "Agentic screening", "Agentic AI matching" and "Multi-step AI outreach", and Amplify Search & Match lists both internal and external search.
Its help centre says screening happens by voice or text. The pricing page shows per-user prices for Starter and Core only; Pro and Max are "Talk to us".
Pick it if you run temp and perm at volume and want the back office in the same system as the CRM. Our guide to Bullhorn pricing walks through the editions, and our staffing software for temp and contract firms list covers its rivals.
5. Recruit CRM: best for small agencies that want AI sourcing and the right to cancel anytime
Recruit CRM is an ATS and CRM "built for recruitment agencies and executive search firms in over 100 countries". Its AI Sourcing lets you "source from across the internet with natural language", and its AI agents handle email replies, candidate submissions and resume formatting.
The pricing page offers monthly or annual billing, and its FAQ answers "Can I cancel my subscription anytime?" with a plain yes. The homepage offers a 30-day free trial. No price figure showed when I read it, and data enrichment comes with Enterprise. No AI interview.
Pick it if you're a small agency that wants Recruiterflow's shape with a trial and no long commitment. Our Recruit CRM review goes deeper, and our Recruit CRM alternatives compare it with the rest.
6. Access Vincere Evo: best for a solo desk or a team of up to 7 on a 30-day rolling contract
Vincere, now sold as Access Vincere Evo, publishes prices for 2 of its 3 plans. Its pricing page lists a single-user Startup plan on a "flat fee, 30-day rolling contract", and Core for 2 to 7 users is "fully digital, self-serve" with "no lock-in, ever". Pro, for 7 or more users, is "priced to your agency" and adds pay and bill, a client portal and multi-brand support.
Core adds AI matching of your own records and a Meeting Assistant that transcribes calls. It doesn't advertise a public profile search or an AI interview.
Pick it if you're a small team that wants to leave on 30 days' notice.
7. JobAdder: best for agencies with a temp and contract desk that want a tailored proposal
JobAdder sells Lite "for new and boutique agencies", Essential and Pro for growing and established agencies, and Business for in-house teams. Lite already includes temp and contract management, Essential adds AI summaries, and Pro adds "advanced automations powered by Roi-AI".
Its pricing page shows no price; it will "create a tailored proposal for you". It lists no sourcing database, trial or AI interview.
Pick it if you need temp tools on an entry plan and you're fine buying through a sales process.
8. Manatal: best low-cost agency ATS with an AI video screening add-on
Manatal publishes per-user plans, yearly or monthly, with a 14-day free trial, no card and pricing "without lock-in contract". Its pricing page lists sourcing "from a database of over 700 million candidates" plus phone and email lookups.
Its AI Interviewer runs "24/7 automated video screening" in 6 languages, built on "structured interviews with defined questions". It's an add-on, and its price isn't on the pricing page.
Pick it if budget comes first and you want an ATS with an AI screen you can switch on later. If you already use it, our Manatal competitors guide is the mirror of this one.
9. Zoho Recruit: best for agencies that want a forever-free plan to start on
Zoho Recruit has a Staffing Agency Edition, pitched as "an AI-powered, automation-friendly ATS" for consultants, clients and agency owners. Its assistant, Zia, helps you "source, screen, and engage with candidates".
Agency plans run from Free to Enterprise, per recruiter per month, billed monthly or yearly. The pricing page promises "no forced contracts" and a 15-day trial. Its video interview add-on lets your team "conduct one-way or live video interviews" themselves; there's no AI interviewer.
Pick it if you already run on Zoho apps or want to start free and upgrade as you hire.
10. Atlas: best for larger agencies that want AI search across their own database
Atlas calls itself "the all-in-one AI recruitment platform for enterprise agencies". Its AI sourcing "reads your entire database with generative AI and returns the right people in seconds", and its AI note taker captures full transcripts of client and candidate calls.
The pricing page publishes per-user prices for Basic and Premium, which adds "verified contacts built in", both with 14 days free. The tier for 10 desks and up is custom. It doesn't advertise a public profile database or an AI interview.
Pick it if your database is large and the job is getting more out of it.
Recruiterflow vs Loxo, Bullhorn, Recruit CRM and Crelate: which is better?
- Recruiterflow vs Loxo: both target search firms and quote 850M+ profiles. Loxo names the plan with sourcing and gives a 7-day trial, but bills a year up front. Recruiterflow has a monthly toggle and starts with a demo.
- Recruiterflow vs Bullhorn: Recruiterflow's pricing page doesn't list timesheets or pay and bill. Bullhorn covers temp and back office.
- Recruiterflow vs Recruit CRM: both pair a CRM with sequences and AI sourcing. Recruit CRM adds a 30-day trial and cancel-anytime terms.
- Recruiterflow vs Crelate: Crelate offers a self-serve trial and a monthly Business plan, but charges extra for enrichment; Recruiterflow says it has no add-ons.
None of the 5 runs a live AI video interview. For the wider field, see recruitment software for agencies and our comparison of recruiting CRM systems.
Who is The Cognitive built for?
We built The Cognitive for the agency recruiter who needs new names on a role this week and wants to send the client people who have already been interviewed. It suits small agencies and solo recruiters who want to see the price before they buy.
- Keep Recruiterflow. It stays your system of record for clients, jobs and placements, and interview results land back on imported candidates' records.
- Or pair it with the CRM you switch to. Bullhorn, Crelate, JobAdder, Manatal and Zoho Recruit are on the same direct list. Loxo, Vincere, Recruit CRM and Atlas aren't today, so agencies on them upload a CSV and share the read-only report link.
How is Recruiterflow priced, and how do the alternatives charge?
Recruiterflow publishes a per-user price for its Platform Plan, billed monthly or annually, and the AIRA Plan is custom. Its FAQ says there are "no add-ons" and mentions multi-year contracts for custom plans. The alternatives charge in 4 ways:
- Credits on a monthly plan: The Cognitive.
- Per user, monthly allowed: Recruiterflow Platform, Crelate Business, Recruit CRM, Vincere Startup and Core, Manatal and Zoho Recruit.
- Per user, annual: Loxo and Crelate Essentials.
- By quote or proposal: Recruiterflow AIRA, Bullhorn's upper editions, JobAdder, Vincere Pro and Atlas Agency and Enterprise.
The Cognitive charges 1 credit per candidate a search returns, 5 to reveal an email and 10 to reveal a phone number. AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month, on a monthly plan you can cancel anytime. Full details are on our pricing page.
How do you test a Recruiterflow alternative without losing your database?
Don't migrate first. Run 1 live role through the alternative for 2 weeks. If you're testing a CRM, load a sample of your own records; Crelate and Recruit CRM both let you trial without a sales call. If you're testing The Cognitive, connect Recruiterflow, source the same role, reveal 20 contacts and count the bounces, then interview your top 5 and count how many reach the client. If more reach the client than usual, keep Recruiterflow.
Run 1 role through The Cognitive next to Recruiterflow Search ~900M public profiles, reveal the contacts you need and interview the people you pick, live, with AI. Start free

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best alternative to Recruiterflow?
The Cognitive is the best Recruiterflow alternative in 2026 if you want new candidates found and interviewed, either next to Recruiterflow or next to the CRM you move to. It searches ~900M public profiles from a plain-English brief and runs a live, two-way AI video interview with the people you pick. If you're replacing the CRM itself, Loxo, Crelate and Bullhorn are the closest Recruiterflow competitors.
What is the best Recruiterflow alternative for recruitment agencies?
For most agencies the best move is The Cognitive for sourcing and first interviews, paired with an agency CRM that fits how you place. Search firms tend to look at Loxo or Crelate, staffing firms with temp desks at Bullhorn, JobAdder or Access Vincere Evo, and small agencies on a budget at Recruit CRM, Manatal or Zoho Recruit.
How much does Recruiterflow cost?
Recruiterflow publishes a per-user monthly price for its Platform Plan, with a monthly or annual toggle, and its AIRA Plan with the AI agents is custom priced. Its FAQ says there are no add-ons, and it mentions multi-year contracts for custom plans. The Cognitive is a monthly plan instead: AI Sourcing starts at $49/month and AI Interview at $99/month.
Is there a Recruiterflow alternative with AI sourcing and AI interviews?
Yes. The Cognitive searches ~900M public profiles and invites the people you shortlist to a live, two-way AI video interview of 10 or 20 minutes, scored against a fixed rubric with questions that adapt to each answer. Bullhorn sells AI screening by voice or text by quote, and Manatal sells an AI video screening add-on. Recruiterflow's AIRA Notetaker summarises calls but doesn't interview anyone.
Can I keep Recruiterflow and add AI interviews?
Yes. Recruiterflow is on The Cognitive's list of 60+ direct ATS integrations, so you import candidates, interview them live with AI, and each one gets a note back in Recruiterflow with the score, a summary and the report link. People you source inside The Cognitive aren't written into Recruiterflow automatically.
Recruiterflow vs Loxo: which is better?
Loxo is better if you want sourcing clearly included in a plan and can pay a year up front; Recruiterflow is better if you want monthly billing on its Platform Plan. Both target search firms and both quote 850M+ profiles. Loxo gives a 7-day trial, Recruiterflow starts with a demo, and neither runs an AI interview, which The Cognitive adds to either one.
Recruiterflow vs Bullhorn vs Crelate: which should an agency pick?
Pick Bullhorn if you run temp and need timesheets and pay and bill, Crelate if you want a self-serve trial and a 1 billion profile Discovery Agent, and Recruiterflow if you're a search firm that wants a published per-user price and no add-ons. None of the 3 interviews candidates live on video, and The Cognitive connects to all 3.
Does Recruiterflow have a free trial?
No free trial appears on Recruiterflow's homepage or pricing page; both point you to a demo. Crelate, Recruit CRM, Manatal, Zoho Recruit, Atlas and Loxo all offer trials. The Cognitive starts self-serve with a free trial that includes 100 sourcing credits.
Does Recruiterflow source candidates outside my database?
Yes. Recruiterflow says AIRA Source lets you source across 850M+ profiles without leaving Recruiterflow, though its pricing page doesn't say which plan includes it. The Cognitive searches ~900M public profiles on a monthly credit plan, and every person found stays in the role pool so later searches skip people you've already seen.
