11 Best Greenhouse Integrations in 2026, Grouped by Hiring Job
By Sparsh Goyal, Founder at The Cognitive. Published · Last updated
- When hiring starts with sourcing, the best Greenhouse integration is The Cognitive. Gem, hireEZ, Pin and LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect follow for sourcing; Metaview, BrightHire and HireVue cover interviews; Checkr, CodeSignal and GoodTime cover checks, tests and scheduling.
- Greenhouse lists 458 integrations in its partner directory, and its Core plan already includes sourcing and CRM, scheduling and an AI notetaker.
- The Cognitive ranks first as the one tool here that finds people, emails them, runs a live AI video interview, adds them to Greenhouse, shows a price and starts without a sales call.
Greenhouse says it has "over 400 pre-built integrations", and its partner directory lists 458 of them. Most teams need one tool per hiring job: finding and contacting people, interviews, scheduling, assessments and background checks.
When the hard part is getting new people into Greenhouse, the top pick is The Cognitive. It searches about 900M public profiles, writes to people from your own mailbox and interviews them by live AI video. Both the new people and their interview results go into Greenhouse. Gem, hireEZ and Pin follow for sourcing and outreach, and LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect suits teams on LinkedIn Recruiter. Metaview, BrightHire, HireVue, Checkr, CodeSignal and GoodTime cover notes, interviews, checks, tests and scheduling.
The Cognitive publishes this page and appears in it.

- Pin: best for small and mid-size teams that want sourcing, outreach and booked interviews.
- LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect: best for teams already paying for LinkedIn Recruiter.

- CodeSignal: best for coding pre-screens sent from Greenhouse.
- GoodTime: best for complex interview scheduling.
What does Greenhouse already do without an integration?
Greenhouse sells three plans, Core, Plus and Pro, and publishes no price for any of them. Core includes "Sourcing & CRM", "Structured interview kits & scorecards", "AI Notetaker", "Scheduling" and "Reporting & analytics". Plus adds "Greenhouse Sourcing Automation" and "Texting".
Greenhouse's sourcing recommendations are "Powered by MyGreenhouse", where "Jobseekers choose to be recommended": an opt-in network, not a search of the open web. Greenhouse Voice AI runs "a structured voice interview" in 11 languages; it is spoken, with no video.

In Greenhouse's partner directory, assessments is the biggest category with 113 listings, then video interviewing with 61, background checks with 43, sourcing with 37 and scheduling with 20.
How were these Greenhouse integrations ranked?
Seventeen tools were considered: the eleven below plus Calendly, ModernLoop, HackerRank, TestGorilla, SeekOut and Findem. Each had to connect to Greenhouse, in its own words or in Greenhouse's directory, and be the clearest pick for one hiring job. The six left out overlap with a ranked tool.
One point for each of six checks:
- Find: it finds people outside Greenhouse.
- Reach: built-in outreach, including messages inside its own network.
- Video AI: it runs a two-way AI interview in video.
- Add: it adds people into Greenhouse as candidates.
- Price: a price is shown on its website for what you buy to use it (for RSC, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Self-serve: an account can be opened with no sales call.
Ties go first to a stated Greenhouse partnership (a directory listing, or a partner claim on the vendor's own site), then to the name that comes first in the alphabet. The tools were picked using feedback from recruiters the founder talks with on LinkedIn, and scored only on each vendor's own site and Greenhouse's partner directory.

Tools are grouped by job: sourcing and outreach first, then interviews and notes (Metaview, BrightHire, HireVue), then one tool each for background checks, coding tests and scheduling. Inside each job, tools are ordered by score. The Cognitive ranks first as the one tool here to score all six. Gem, hireEZ and Pin tie at 5 and each states a Greenhouse partnership, so alphabetical order decides. Metaview's site does not say its sourcing agent adds people to Greenhouse, so that cell scores 0, and HireVue describes its AI Interviewer as voice-based, so it scores 0 on Video AI.
How do you choose a Greenhouse integration?
Choose by the bottleneck first, then by how the tool talks to Greenhouse.
Is the bottleneck too few good people, or too many applications?
The two problems need different tools. Ashby's Recruiter Productivity report (April 2026) found the average recruiter processes 291 applications per hire, against roughly 100 in early 2021. If that is your problem, an interview or screening tool comes first. If the right people never apply, you need sourcing: in Gem's 2026 Recruiting Benchmarks Report (December 2025), direct sourcing delivered 11% of hires from just 2.6% of applications.
Does it add new people to Greenhouse, or only read what is there?
Greenhouse runs separate developer APIs for this, listed on its developer site. Harvest reads and writes jobs, candidates and interviews; the Candidate Ingestion API lets sourcing partners submit prospects and candidates and see their stage. Ask whether a sourcing tool creates the application on the right job. Greenhouse is moving integrations to the newest version of Harvest, so ask whether the vendor has moved too.
Does the interview result come back into Greenhouse?
A screening tool is worth paying for only if its results sit on the record hiring managers already open. Look for a score or scorecard, a link to the recording or report, and a stage move that you control.
The Cognitive scores every AI interview on the rubric set for the role and keeps the recording and transcript next to that scorecard. A person still makes the hiring call.
Does it have to be in Greenhouse's partner directory?
No. Greenhouse's form for creating API credentials lets a customer choose an unlisted vendor or a custom integration when a tool is not in its list, according to Greenhouse Support. Either way, give the credential no more permissions than the job requires.
Sourcing and outreach integrations for Greenhouse
These five tools bring people into Greenhouse who never applied.
1. The Cognitive: best for finding, emailing and interviewing new people, then sending them to a Greenhouse job
Verdict: 6 of 6, the most complete sourcing and first-interview pick here, though not a directory partner.
The Cognitive is AI sourcing and live AI interviewing in one account. A recruiter describes the role in plain English and edits the filters it becomes. It searches about 900M public profiles and gives a short reason for each match. Phone numbers need Sourcing Pro or a higher plan.
Outreach goes out from your own mailbox, and follow-ups stop when someone replies. The Sourcing Team plan includes it, as do Sourcing Pro and the plans above. Shortlisted people get a link to a live AI video interview, 10 or 20 minutes long and in any of 9 languages; the questions follow each answer and the score follows a fixed rubric.
An admin connects Greenhouse with credentials created in your Greenhouse account. On the shortlist, Send to ATS adds sourced people to an open Greenhouse job, and sending costs no credits. For candidates who come in from a Greenhouse job, you choose the stage that sends people to the AI interview. When you approve or reject someone in The Cognitive, a note with the interview score, a summary and a link to the full report goes on their Greenhouse record, and the application moves only to the stages you picked for that job. More on the Greenhouse integration page.
Best for: Greenhouse teams whose open roles draw few applicants who fit.
Watch out for: The Cognitive is not in Greenhouse's partner directory, and it cannot search your Greenhouse history for past candidates. Greenhouse sync comes with Sourcing Max, Interviews Pro and Max, Business and Enterprise. It does not schedule human interview rounds, run coding tests or do background checks, and its interview runs in a laptop or desktop browser.
Pricing model: sourcing and interviews are separate monthly plans with credits, and Enterprise is priced on request. Plans start at $99 a month. A 20-minute interview takes 100 credits. See pricing.
2. Gem: best for sourcing, CRM and reporting tied closely to Greenhouse

Verdict: 5 of 6, with a stated two-way Greenhouse sync and no AI interviewer named on its site.
Gem sells "Source, review, hire, and report. All in one place, in the blink of AI." Its AI Sourcing Agent says it can "Search 800M+ profiles".
Gem calls itself "a certified Greenhouse partner". It describes a native, two-way integration that syncs candidates in real time and moves outreach history, stage updates and interview data between the two systems. In Gem's 2026 benchmark data, 46% of sourced hires were rediscovered people already in a company's CRM or ATS. The Gem review goes deeper.
Best for: in-house teams that want sourcing, nurture campaigns and pipeline reports on top of Greenhouse data.
Watch out for: outside the Startup Program, pricing is custom, and a separate interview tool is still needed.
Pricing model: custom by employee count; the Startup Program shows a price and starts from checkout, and Gem says companies of 30 to 100 employees get reduced rates with no sales call.
3. hireEZ: best for outbound recruiting agents on top of Greenhouse

Verdict: 5 of 6, agents for most of the outbound job, with screening by phone.
hireEZ's Greenhouse listing says: "At hireEZ, our mission is to make outbound recruiting easy." Its site pitches agents that source, review, screen and schedule on top of your ATS.
Its pricing page lists "Email, SMS, and InMail engagement". AI screening runs as AI phone interviews, not video. The hireEZ review has the detail.
Best for: teams that want one outbound tool from search to first screen.
Watch out for: larger plans are quoted around the tools you replace.
Pricing model: the solo plan lists its price and has a 7-day free trial; enterprise plans are configured per team.
4. Pin: best for small and mid-size teams that want sourcing, outreach and booked interviews

Verdict: 5 of 6, the easiest listed sourcing tool to try, since it has a free plan.
Pin says it "finds the right candidates, writes to each one, follows up and books the interviews", from "850M+ profiles". Its Greenhouse listing, aimed at companies of up to 1,000 people, says "every candidate record syncs directly into your ATS". Its site names no AI interview.
Best for: lean teams that want outbound running quickly.
Watch out for: the first interview stays on your calendar.
Pricing model: a free plan, per-user paid plans billed annually, and Enterprise; ATS integration is an add-on on the paid plans and included on Enterprise.
5. LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect: best for teams already paying for LinkedIn Recruiter

Verdict: 4 of 6, the standard link between LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse, sold through LinkedIn.
LinkedIn says "Recruiter System Connect (RSC) is LinkedIn's core ATS integration for Recruiter", and it names Greenhouse a "Diamond Partner" for ATS integrations. Greenhouse's listing names One-Click Export, an In-ATS Indicator, Past Applicant Spotlight and export of InMail profiles.
The RSC link itself runs no AI interview, so it scores 0 on Video AI. See LinkedIn Recruiter pricing.
Best for: recruiters who work in LinkedIn Recruiter all day.
Watch out for: it needs a LinkedIn Recruiter contract, and it reaches LinkedIn members only.
Pricing model: LinkedIn Recruiter is priced through sales, and LinkedIn says integrations come with a Recruiter license at no additional cost.
Integrations for interviews, scheduling, tests and checks
These six tools mostly work on people already in Greenhouse, so they score lower on finding and reaching people.
6. Metaview: best for AI interview notes that land in Greenhouse

Verdict: 4 of 6, the notetaker pick, now with a sourcing agent on the side.
Metaview calls itself "the Agentic Recruiting Platform built for radically efficient hiring, end to end." In Greenhouse's directory it is "the most popular and loved AI scribe purpose-built for recruiting", with notes and interviews "automatically accessible in Greenhouse".
Its sourcing agent "finds candidates, runs personalized outreach, and books screening calls". See the Metaview review.
Best for: teams whose interviewers skip scorecards and who want notes on the record without typing.
Watch out for: Greenhouse Core already includes an AI notetaker, so compare the two before paying for both.
Pricing model: per-user plans, including a free one, shown on its site.
7. BrightHire: best for structured AI screens triggered from a Greenhouse stage

Verdict: 1 of 6, strong inside Greenhouse, sold through a demo.
BrightHire calls itself "The AI-native hiring platform for the world's most ambitious companies". Its Greenhouse listing promises "Zero clicks to complete scorecards". BrightHire Screen "runs structured, two-way interviews" in voice or video, with invitations triggered from Greenhouse and scorecards that appear in Greenhouse.
BrightHire says "every candidate is asked the same questions", so test follow-ups in the demo.
Best for: inbound-heavy Greenhouse teams that want a structured first screen and interview notes from one vendor.
Watch out for: it works on applicants you already have; it finds no one new.
Pricing model: Screen priced by interview volume, Inbound by applicant volume and Interview Intelligence by company size; no prices shown.
8. HireVue: best for large employers that run one-way video interviews

Verdict: 0 of 6, an enterprise suite whose Greenhouse link centres on recorded interviews.
HireVue offers "AI hiring technology to reveal proven skills and capabilities". Its Greenhouse listing, in the video interviewing category, says "HireVue OnDemand interviews invite candidates to answer a standard set of questions". That is a one-way recording.
HireVue also sells an AI Interviewer, which HireVue describes as voice-based, so it scores 0 on Video AI. See HireVue alternatives.
Best for: high-volume employers that want candidates to record answers on their own time.
Watch out for: OnDemand recordings cannot follow up on an answer; the AI Interviewer that can is voice only.
Pricing model: quote after a demo; the site offers an ROI calculator, not a price.
9. Checkr: best for background checks started from Greenhouse

Verdict: 2 of 6, the self-serve background check pick.
Checkr calls itself "The AI-powered verification platform for high-stakes decisions." Its Greenhouse listing lets teams "kick off background checks and view reports within your existing workflows". More options in the best background check software.
Best for: teams that want to order checks and read results without leaving Greenhouse.
Watch out for: compare the published packages with what each role needs checked before the first order.
Pricing model: published per-report packages with self-serve sign-up; enterprise by quote.
10. CodeSignal: best for coding pre-screens sent from Greenhouse

Verdict: 2 of 6, the assessment pick for engineering roles.
CodeSignal bills itself as "The Agentic Skills Intelligence Platform". From Greenhouse, teams can "Send CodeSignal Pre-Screens to candidates" and "View a succinct summary of your candidate's results in Greenhouse". Its AI Interviewer runs by voice, by phone or in the browser.
Ashby's 2026 Talent Trends Report puts the median time to hire for technical roles at 40 days, against 30 for business roles. See the best technical interview software.
Best for: engineering teams that want a standard coding test before the technical round.
Watch out for: credit-based plans scale with test volume, so model a busy hiring month before choosing one.
Pricing model: credit-based plans (Build, Grow) with published prices, and a custom Pro plan for larger teams.
11. GoodTime: best for complex interview scheduling

Verdict: 0 of 6, and the pick when panels and loops are the bottleneck.
GoodTime "automates complex interview scheduling, keeps candidates and interviewers connected". Greenhouse's listing calls it "The leader in complex interview scheduling for Greenhouse": you "Send candidates to GoodTime by stage for automatic scheduling".
Best for: teams booking multi-person panels across time zones.
Watch out for: Greenhouse Core includes scheduling, so confirm the native tool falls short first. More in interview scheduling software.
Pricing model: "based on the number of candidates annually, not the number of users"; custom proposal.
When to skip The Cognitive
- Your security team approves only listed Greenhouse partners. The Cognitive connects with your own Greenhouse credentials and is not in the directory. hireEZ and Pin are listed sourcing tools.
- Your best candidates are already in Greenhouse. It cannot search your Greenhouse history. Gem is built for rediscovery inside your ATS and CRM.
- You want Greenhouse sync on an entry plan. Sync comes with Sourcing Max, Interviews Pro and Max, Business and Enterprise, not with Starter, Growth, Sourcing Pro or Sourcing Team.
- Candidates interview on their phones. Its interview runs in a laptop or desktop browser. Greenhouse Voice AI and CodeSignal's AI Interviewer run by voice.
- The gap is scheduling, tests or background checks. Use GoodTime, CodeSignal or Checkr.
What should you ask in a Greenhouse integration demo?
- What exactly lands in Greenhouse? A candidate, an application, a note, a scorecard or an attachment.
- Who moves the stage? Ask whether you choose the stages for each job.
- What happens to duplicates? Ask what happens when the person is already on the job.
- Which plan carries the Greenhouse connection? It is often not the entry plan.
Test on one role Greenhouse applicants have failed to fill twice: write a two-line brief in The Cognitive and read the first ten matches with their reasons. A 7-day trial, with no card, searches up to 100 people. Outreach comes with Sourcing Team and with Sourcing Pro and above. On a plan with sync, Send to ATS puts the strongest two on the open Greenhouse job. Create a free account.
