Free AI Job Posting Generator

A job posting is the public advert, not the job description it came from. Paste a description or describe the role and this returns the advert version: shorter, plain language, the work before the requirements, and must-haves separated honestly from nice-to-haves. It never invents salary, benefits or company facts. Free, no signup.

What is the difference between a job posting and a job description?

The job description is the internal spec, covering full responsibilities, requirements, scope and reporting lines. The posting is what goes on the board, and it has a different job: to make the right person stop scrolling and apply. It is shorter, leads with the work rather than the requirements, and is written for someone deciding in about thirty seconds.

Should a job posting include a salary range?

Include one wherever you can. Postings without a range attract fewer applicants and more mismatched ones, because candidates who are careful with their time skip listings they cannot evaluate, and a growing number of jurisdictions now require a range by law. This tool will not invent one. If you do not supply a range, it marks the place where yours belongs.

Why separate must-have from nice-to-have?

Because candidates read must-haves literally and rule themselves out. Every requirement listed as essential that is not actually essential removes people who could do the job, and that effect falls hardest on candidates who are already under-represented. Being honest about which is which widens the pool at no cost.

How long should a job posting be?

Shorter than the description it came from. Four to six bullets on the work and four to six on what you are looking for is usually enough. Length is not really the problem; padding is, and the most common padding is a must-have list that is actually a wish list.
